Lot 341 US Model 1816 .69 Flint Lock Musket

Converted to percussion. Made in 1833, smooth bore. The fore stock has been shortened, possibly during Civil War for reissue to militia or cavalry. Many of these were found in Southern arsenals at beginning of the war. Comes with .69 ball. Made in Connecticut by Johnson. Overall length is 54". Musket does cock and fire.
